Don’t cancel those plans to visit Sonoma County.
The fires of October 2017 may have devastated many in their path but never the soul of the extraordinary community of Sonoma. In recent days, CNN and NPR have reported on a dramatic slowdown of tourism in the area—a rash of cancellations, primarily, from travelers outside of California.
As this video touchingly shows, Sonoma County is open for business and needs your business. Recovery from the fires will be painstakingly gradual and one of the best ways to help—not to mention receiving delicious rewards in return—is to simply act as if business is usual. It is, for the most part.
There’s no reason to delay. Eat, drink, sleep and be merry—in Sonoma.
