A delicate, cool wisp of wind is how this classic Anderson Valley Chardonnay finishes. Before that, an intense shot of far north California Coast fruit that conjures Walt Whitman-esque transcendental spirits of Meyer lemon, verbena and chamomile and Leaves of Grass. Bright, clean yet rambunctious, the 2010 BREGGO Chardonnay is of a unique character that can hardly be replicated outside of the beatific coastal hillsides and mountains of Mendocino County. Elegant but wild, bold and pure as nature, it calls you to wander off the beaten path. Into the wild, the pressures of society wither away and you are left to discover the Soul. The transcendent Self reflected in nature and free, I sing the body electric. –J.M.
**Note: as of the 2012 vintage, the Breggo name no longer exists and has been rebranded as FEL Wines to more closely align this portfolio of wines under the esteemed Lede Family Wines umbrella. See the official announcement here.
